New Delhi May 13 (IANS) It was a warm Sunday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 30.6 degrees Celsius five notches above the season s average the Met Office said.
"It was the hottest morning of the season " an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official told IANS.
The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 42 degrees Celsius.
The day will be partly cloudy and the city may witness dust/thunderstorm the official added.
The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 60 per cent.
Saturday s maximum temperature settled at 42.8 degrees Celsius three notches above the season s average while the minimum temperature was recorded at 26.7 degrees Celsius a notch above the season s average.
