Jammu, June 17 (IANS) Another 108 people tested positive in Jammu & Kashmir on Wednesday as the total number of COVID-19 patients jumped to 5,406 in the Union territory.

A statement issued by the information and public relations department said 108 tested positive today, 27 in Jammu division and 81 in Kashmir division.

The total number of COVID-19 patients is now 5,406 in J&K. So far, 64 people have died due to the deadly virus in J&K while 2,914 have completely recovered.

The number of active cases is 2,428 in J&K out of which 666 are in Jammu division and 1,762 are in Kashmir division.
