Chaplin was the benchmark of comedy. He would make the world laugh, cry and leave his charm in every of his performance. Without uttering a word, Chaplin induced laughter among amoung his audience.
In his book “My Autobiography “ , Chaplin narrates his childhood, about his poverty in slums and early debut on the musical hall stage, his lucky break in America.
He had the string of failed marriages to Mildred Harris , Lita Grey, Paulette Goddard and finally he found his soul mate Oona O’Neill, who was 18 while Chaplin was 52 when they married.
