Lucknow May 9 (IANS) Three persons were killed by a speeding truck on Tuesday in Uttar Pradesh s Ballia district police said.
Over a dozen others were injured in the incident that took place in Maniyar village.
The victims who belonged to Siwan Bihar were sleeping on the roadside and had come to visit a shrine.
All three were females the police said.
Of the injured three including an infant are reported to be critical.
