Ranchi May 27 (IANS) Five people extracting coal illegally from a closed mine were killed on Saturday as it caved in Jharkhand s Giridih district police said.
The incident took place at the Kabribad mine where around 300 people were extracting coal illegally a police official said.
In Jharkhand more than 500 people have died while extracting coal from closed mines.
