New Delhi Aug 7 (IANS) A nine-year-old student of a private school was allegedly molested by his seniors thrice in their school bus here police said on Tuesday.
A case has been registered under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Shahdara Ved Prakash Surya said the incident happened in east Delhi s Vivek Vihar.
The victim he said has complained that three of his seniors harassed him. The three accused are students of Classes 7 8 and 10.
"The kid has alleged that he was touched inappropriately and molested by his seniors on three days -- July 27 July 30 and on August 1 -- while going back home in the school bus.
"They used to take him to the back of the bus and touch his private parts " Surya said.
He said the kid was traumatized by their behaviour and had locked himself in a room.
"After he revealed the incidents to his mother she filed a police complaint on Monday evening " the police officer said adding that an investigation is on.
