New Delhi Oct 11 (IANS) The Aam Aadmi Party s (AAP) student wing on Wednesday staged a protest outside the busy Rajiv Chowk station in the heart of the capital to denounce the Delhi Metro fare hike.
About 30 students from Delhi University s Chhatra Yuva Sangharsh Samiti (CYSS) gathered at Gate 6 of the station and demanded a rollback of the fare hike.
"What made them increase the fare twice in the same year when there was no hike for eight years? Why didn t Delhi Metro speak about losses all those years?" Anmol a CYSS member told IANS.
