Ayursundra pediatrician to conduct GPC clinic By NJ Thakuria 



Guwahati: Pediatrician Dr Sourav Gohain Duarah from Ayursundra Hospital will conduct the next weekly evening OPD clinic at Guwahati Press Club (GPC) on 23 September. Organized under the series of ‘Evening with a Doctor’ programs, the Saturday camp will start at 4 pm and conclude by 6 pm. 

Children of media persons along with their relatives (up to 12 years old) can be taken for a general growth related check-up in the camp. The seniors will get the opportunity to check their blood pressure by the health workers from the city based hospital. The last camp was graced by Dr K Appaji Krishnan, senior spine surgeon  from SIMS Hospital Chennai, where over 20 media persons received free consultations. Physiotherapist Dr Jayanta Deka (PT) and marketing executive Binay Hatikakoti from the hospital assisted the physician to
conduct the camp. 

Till date, practicing doctors from Apollo Chennai Hospital, Manipal Bangalore Hospital, Fortis Hospital Bangalore, Medanta-the Medicity Hospital, GNRC Hospitals, Down Town Hospital, Dispur Hospital, Hayat Hospital, Narayana Super-Specialty Hospital, Swagat Super-Surgical Institute, Wintrobe Hospital, Nemcare Hospital, Sun Valley Hospital,
Sight First eye-clinic etc attended the camps. Even though the camps are primarily organized for the benefit of press club members with their close relatives, any journalist of the region (also the country) with their family members may take the advantage of the clinics, said a statement issued by the GPC adding that similar initiatives are encouraged in other parts of the region as well. -Window To News
