Kolkata June 30 (IANS) Parthav Patel was on Friday appointed the physio of the Bengal cricket team for the upcoming domestic season.
Parthav was part of Gujarat s Ranji Trophy winning support staff this season and has been associated with the team for the last seven years.
The decision was made at the Cricket Association of Bengal s (CAB) coaches committee meeting.
The term of his contract is not yet decided but today we roped him in. He has a lot of experience under his belt a CAB official said.
Bengal reached the quarter-finals last season finishing runners-up in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.
