New Delhi Jan 21 (IANS) The BJP Delhi unit on Sunday welcomed President Ram Nath Kovind s approval to disqualify 20 AAP MLAs in the office-of-profit case saying the decision had contributed to protection of democratic values.
"The Delhi BJP welcomes the decision taken by the President to disqualify the 20 MLAs " Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Delhi unit President Manoj Tiwari said here.
"With his speedy decision the President has made a major contribution towards protecting democratic values " the BJP MP from northeast Delhi said.
"The people of Delhi feel that these AAP MLAs must return all financial benefits they have taken after the date on which a circular on their appointment and facilities was issued " Tiwari added.
