Florence: Italian Police on Thursday evacuated part of the Pitti Uomo international trade fair taking place in Florence and bomb disposal experts were called in after security staff noted a small suitcase left near the ticket office.

The police bomb squad destroyed the suitcase, which was found to contain papers.


Pitti Uomo running till Friday at Florence's Fortezza da Basso is one of Italy's leading male fashion fairs and is held twice a year.-Agency
