New Delhi Dec 11 (IANS) It was a cloudy Monday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 8.2 degrees Celsius a notch below the season s average the weather office said.
"The sky will remain generally cloudy with mist or shallow fog in the morning. There are chances of light rains towards the evening or night " an India Meteorological Department official (IMD) told IANS.
The maximum temperature was likely to hover around 27 degrees Celsius and humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 92 per cent.
Visibility stood at 1 200 metres.
Around 10 trains were cancelled and 17 delayed due to fog in several parts of northern India while two were rescheduled.
Sunday s minimum temperature was recorded at 7.4 degrees Celsius a notch below the season s average and the maximum temperature settled at 27.2 degrees Celsius three notches above season s average.
