Dubai Nov 9 (IANS/WAM) The Strategy and Corporate Excellence Department at Dubai Customs celebrated World Quality Day on Thursday under the theme "Celebrating Leadership Everyday".
The event held in Dubai Customs headquarters was attended by executive directors heads of departments employees as well as representatives from TUV Intercert the international certification office.
Director of Dubai Customs Ahmed Mahboob Musabih said: "Since the launch of the first excellence programme we have raised the bar and decided to turn all challenges into opportunities in fulfilment of our vision and national strategies whilst adopting quality in every work we do."
Musabih added that the department earned 15 quality certifications since 2002 including the International Standard for Service Excellence. At the end of the event he gave awards to speakers and departments that played a noticeable part in Dubai Customs success in this field.
