18 Thousand Deliveries take place in Sultania Hospital Every Year
Bhopal: Neo-natal care unit has been established near the labour room in Sultania ladies Hospital with the cooperation of National Health Mission for strengthening neo-natal care services. Four radiant warmer and 2 photo therapy machines have installed in the unit. Neo-natal revival services for respiratory problem being faced by new born, treatment of jaundice and infection beside food and thermal safety will be provided by this unit.
It may be mentioned that about 14 thousand normal and 4 thousand deliveries through cesarean operation stake place in Sultania Ladies Hospital affiliated with Bhopal Medical College every year. The neo-natal care unit has been established here with the cooperation of National Health Mission in order to strengthen neo-natal care services.
Pediatric department of Kamla Nehru Child Hospital, Bhopal and Superintendent of Sultania Ladies Hospital with the help of maternity department will ensure function of Neo-natal care unit. Training of service providers nominated for the unit will be imparted with the cooperation of National Health Mission.-Windowtonews
