Madhya Pradesh assembly election special – 2
Upcoming assembly election in Madhya Pradesh is very important for both BJP and Congress. Both the parties are ready to show their strength in upcoming election. BJP is keen to gain one more time majority in state, but congress is also ready for come back.

If we talk about the reserved seats, so there are 82 reserved seats in Madhya Pradesh assembly. 35 seats are reserved for scheduled caste and 47 seats are reserved for scheduled tribes. Both the parties want to perform its best in these seats.

In last assembly election, BJP performed well in these reserved seats. But now in this current situation, BJP will have to face problems after Supreme Court’s new judgment on SC/ST act which  bans immediate arrest of those charged under provisions of the 1989 act.

Congress will definitely put this issue in the public to target BJP that they are diluting the SC/ST act. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself has cleared that government will not dilute the act. But BJP will have to work hard in these reserved seats.

These 82 seats will be the key factors in upcoming assembly election. Meanwhile congress president Rahul Gandhi has Started “SAMVIDHAN BACHAO ABHIYAN”. This shows that congress is serious for reserved cast votes. May be possible soon BJP will start its own campaign in support of reserved cast.
