Orlando Feb 8 (IANS) Former Formula 1 driver Rubens Barrichello was discharged from hospital on Wednesday after recovering from a vascular problem.
The 45-year-old was admitted to a hospital in Orlando Florida last Saturday after suffering from a severe migraine reports Xinhua.
"Hi everyone. I just want to say that I m going home " he wrote on social media.
Barrichello previously said the problem was related to a cerebral vein but has provided no further details of the condition.
The Brazilian who now races stock cars represented Jordan Stewart Ferrari Honda Brawn and Williams in a Formula 1 career that spanned from 1993 to 2011.
He secured 11 victories and 68 podium finishes in 322 Grand Prix appearances.
