June 26 (WTN)- His epic life story could be an inspiration for millions around the globe. Alireza Beiranvand, Iranian Goalkeeper rose to fame as he saved penalty kick from none other than Cristiano Ronaldo in Portugal vs Iran game last night in FIFA World Cup in Russia. He became a national hero and also an inspiration for many who wish to do something in life.
 

Alireza Beiranvand ran away from home as his father wanted him to work in teen age, but Alireza wanted to be a footballer. He worked at a pizza shop, used to wash SUVs for money & clean the streets to earn living in Tehran. He slept outside his local team's football stadium and started playing. He played for clubs and in 2015 Alireza became Iran’s first-choice goalkeeper in qualifying, he helped his Team cruise to World Cup in Russia.
