New Delhi Oct 11 (IANS) Two-wheeler manufacturer Hero MotoCorp on Wednesday reported a rise of 11 per cent in its sales with over two million units sold during the second quarter of 2017-18.
The company said it sold 20 22 805 units of two-wheelers in the July-September period with consecutive months of robust sales up 11 per cent from the corresponding quarter in the previous fiscal.
"Our sales performance this year is a testimony to our intent and determination on further consolidating our very strong and consistent market leadership in the country " Ashok Bhasin Head of Sales Marketing and Customer Care Hero MotoCorp said in a statement.
The company said it surpassed four million sales mark in a little over six months of the current fiscal driven by popular demand for its brands -- Splendor Glamour Passion and HF Deluxe motorcycles as well as the Duet Maestro Edge and Pleasure scooters.
