Kanganan Ranaut who was off from media for long is set to come up with the new release of her Movie Rangoon on 24th Feb. The actress is back to media in sequence and  is busy with the promotions of her movie Rangoon. In a sequence to promotion in an interview with a leading tabloid the actress opened up about relationships and marriage. 

When asked about why the twist in thought of getting married as earlier she was not keen for? She replied in the very detail, she said, "At one point in life you wonder why do people get married. Being in your early or mid twenties has that kind of freedom. When my mother used to tell me (to get married), I used to be like, 'she does not understand my lifestyle'. I also had a bit of a gypsy attitude. However, when maternal instincts kick in, you start to actually see things very differently. It is not the insecurity of growing older, but it's really nice to come back to a partner who is watching your back."She added, "Also, I have been through relationships where I felt that people do behave differently when they have a companion as a wife..or...maybe it is some conditioning of a patriarchal society. I don't know what it is but I just feel that in my generation people just come with the Tinder generation attitude, looking over each other's shoulders, always trying to see a better catch. I think that has really caught on with my generation. I just feel that nobody really tries their best. I feel that I want to give my best to a relationship and I thought without the baggage of legal hassle and legalities of it, it would be great to have that equation where you come back to each other without even having to come back to each other. It is philosophical and can set you free if you can afford that. But I failed miserably at that."And she also said the plan for marriage is for this year only by year end hopefully.
