Bhubaneswar Feb 8 (IANS) A woman tourist from Italy has lodged a complaint against a hotel s staff in Odisha s Puri alleging misbehaviour and harassment police said on Thursday.
"The tourist has alleged the hotel staff misbehaved with her. We are inquiring into the matter " said officer Debasis Mishra.
Following Fiorella Bizzaro s complaint Hotel Krishna Residency s proprietor Hemant Bhanja was detained for interrogation.
The incident took place in the pilgrim city on Wednesday evening said police.
The woman said she booked a hotel room online in October. After her arrival on Wednesday she demanded the perquisites and facilities assured at the time of booking. However the hotel staff allegedly harassed her.
