Rome May 15 (IANS/AKI) Italian authorities deported an alleged Egyptian extremist on national security grounds the interior ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.
The 33-year-old student who lived in the northeastern city of Udine has recently shown "aggressive behaviour in the local community and signs of potential religious radicalisation " the ministry said citing investigators.
The Egyptian was the 43rd suspected religious extremist to be expelled from Italy this year and the 280th since January 2015 the ministry stated.
