Jordan, US finalise details of 2019 aid cash transfer

Amman, Nov 14 (IANS) The US Embassy in Jordan said that the Jordanian and US governments are finalizing the details of the 2019 cash transfer as part of the assistance to Jordan.

In a statement obtained by Xinhua on Wednesday, the embassy said this year's assistance to Jordan is in accordance with last year's.

The promised bilateral foreign assistance is a minimum of $1.275 billion per year over a five-year period, the embassy added, citing the memorandum of understanding signed between the United States and Jordan in February 2018.
