Srinagar Aug 9 (IANS) A 16-year-old youth injured in clashes with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir s Pulwama district on Wednesday succumbed to injuries in a hospital here police said.
Muhammad Younis Sheikh was injured in clashes between the security forces and protesters in Tral area after three militants were killed by security forces in a gunfight in Gulab Bagh area of Tral.
"He was shifted to Srinagar for treatment where he succumbed to critical injuries " police said.
Authorities have suspended mobile phone connectivity and Internet facility in Pulwama district after the gunfight.
