Tokyo Oct 6 (IANS) An earthquake measuring 6 on the Richter scale jolted Japan s Fukushima prefecture on Friday.
According to the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) no tsunami warning has been issued as a result of the quake reports Xinhua news agency.
The quake s epicentre was located at a latitude of 37.5 degrees north and a longitude of 144.0 degrees east with a depth of 6 km according to the JMA.
There were no reports of any damage or injuries.
