Kolkata Jan 31 (IANS) A man and his wife and mother were arrested on Wednesday on charge of killing his drunkard elderly father and burying the body outside their house in West Bengal s Cooch Behar district police said.
Both women were arrested for abetment to the crime police said.
"A middle-aged man was arrested from Dinhata for hacking his father to death on January 23 " a police officer said.
The accused often quarrelled with his father over his binge drinking.
"On January 23 the man s father came home drunk and started shouting. He has not been seen ever since. The neighbours came to us suspecting the old man has been murdered " the officer said.
The accused confessed to killing his father and burying the body in front of the house.
