Mumbai Jan 18 (IANS) The 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex) on Thursday opened on a positive note during the morning session of the trade.
The Sensex of the BSE after opening at 35 366.45 points and touched a high of 35 476.70 points and a low of 35 355.45 points.
On Wednesday the Sensex closed at 35 081.82 points.
The Sensex is trading at 35 383.32 points up by 270.77 points or 0.77 per cent.
On the other hand the broader 51-scrip Nifty at National Stock Exchange (NSE) opened at 10 873.40 points after closing at 10 788.55 points.
The Nifty is trading at 10 864.90 points in the morning.
