Meena Kumari 85th birth anniversary: Real Life of Tragedy Queen

Google portray doodle to remember Tregedy Queen of Indian cinema Meena Kumari on her 85th birth anniversary. She is still in the heart of millions by her cute smile and performance and beauty.

 She faced tragic Journey of his life in early childhood. Her real name was Mahjabeen Bano, being a girl child her father had left her in an orphanage. But get back Meena to home due to tragic condition of her mother. Meena started work due to worst condition of family for money at the age of 4.

She Worked in 20 films as child artist, she got name of Meena Kumari after Vijay Bhatt's film 'Baiju Bawra'. She performed tragic roles in most of her movies. In 1952, she married to famous filmmaker Kamal Amrohi as his second wife. But after few years of marriage distances got broaden between Meena and Kamal and finally Kamal divorced meena after which she breaks completely



It is said that this incident and pain made meena addicted to alcohol. Three weeks after the release of the film 'Pakeeja', she felt seriously ill. In the trap of sorrow, she passed away at the age of 39.

Meena Kumari went on to set milestones in Indian cinema. She always remembered with her roles in Halaku (1956), Yahudi (1958), Char Dil Char Rahen (1959), Dil Apna Aur Preet Parayi (1960), Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam, Main Chup Rahungi, Aarti (all 1962), Benazir (1964), Bahu Begum (1967), Mere Apne (1971) and eventually her swan-song, the long-delayed Pakeezah, completed just before her death in 1972.
