Srinagar Nov 22 (IANS) A soldier was killed on Wednesday in a gunfight with militants near the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir s Kupwara district.
Defence Ministry sources said the incident took place near the Choken Post in Keran sector. "The operation against the militants is still going on " an official said.
