New Delhi March 2 (IANS) Two youths were arrested on Thursday on the charge of gang raping a minor girl in Gurugram Delhi Police said.
Police said the girl s friend Manjeet Solanki 26 and his neighbour Vikas 27 took her to Gurugram from a West Delhi locality on the pretext of a joyride and raped her at a paying guest accommodation in the Haryana city on Wednesday.
They offered her a cold drink laced with a sedative before raping her Deputy Commissioner of Police Surender Kumar told IANS.
The girl s family beat up Vikas when the three returned to Delhi and informed police around 8.30 p.m.
After the girl a student of Class XI in her police statement accused Manjeet and Vikas of gang rape the two were arrested. A medical examination of the girl confirmed rape the DCP said.
