The shocking incident of Uri is hard to dismiss form memory; many lives were affected from soldiers to citizens. The relation between India and Pakistan turned ugly which lead to massive rage and protest all across nation against pak and finally impact landed on the Pakistani artists.The artists from Pakistan were banned in India and were given ultimatum to quit India sooner the better. Many artists from Pakistan during that duration left India with memories including Fawad Khan.
Fawad Khan made his debut in Bollywood with Sonam Kapoor in Khoobsurat. Now after an eminent pause Fawad open up about his exit from India and leaving Bollywood.In an interview with leading Pakistani daily he opened up and said, “I’m still in touch with a lot of my friends there. Nothing’s really changed. Obviously, I’m not a man of steel that people’s words don’t affect me. They might hurt me. But I am becoming immune to it as time goes by. I have no expectations from them, and that’s what I think has developed this camaraderie. Even if I don’t work with them ever again, I’ll still always have love and regard for them, and I assume that’s how they feel as well. That’s why we’re still in touch. We even make plans to meet, to catch-up.”
On work front not yet confirmed however rumours are that he will be appearing opposite Katrina Kaif in another Dharma Production movie. -WTN
