Modi to meet Jinping
This kind of informal discussion is going to happen between India and China for the first time since 1954. This is being called an informal talk because no agreement will be signed during this period, nor any shared statement will be issued. It will not be a case of delegation level conversation sitting around the table. This opportunity will be of informal direct interaction between the heads of the two countries.
Modi and Jinping will meet between April 27 and 28. According to the information, no joint statement or release will be issued after this informal summit. Both leaders share their views on national and international developments in the conference. This will be the fourth visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi after coming in power in 2014. Narendra Modi will also participate in the SCO summit going to be held in China's Qingdao city on 9th and 10th June.
