Bhopal Dec 19 (IANS) Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia on Tuesday vowed not to wear any flower garland till the Shivraj Singh Chouhan-led government in Madhya Pradesh is ousted from power.
Addressing party workers in Chaurai in Madhya Pradesh the former Union Minister said: "The present government has opened fire at the farmers for seeking their own rights. As long as such government is not uprooted I will not wear any flower garland."
The Congress MP said he is associated with a party that has assimilated itself into Mahatma Gandhi s principles and hence he will wear "the garland of thread".
Scindia also accused the Shivraj Singh Chouhan government of harassing the poor labourers and youths.
