New Delhi May 26 (IANS) A notorious robber carrying a reward of Rs 25 000 on his head has been arrested in south Delhi a police officer said on Friday.
A stolen Royal Enfield motorcycle and a countrymade firearm were seized from Vicky Panwar s possession police said.
Vicky Panwar 26 was arrested on Thursday night from the Lok Nayak Jaiprakash Narayan Trauma Centre in Safdarjung Enclave area on a tip-off. He is a resident of Shamli district of Uttar Pradesh.
He was evading arrest since October 2016. He was involved in an armed robbery at an ice-cream parlour in Preet Vihar area in east Delhi Deputy Commissioner of Police Ishwar Singh told IANS.
During the robbery they had shot at and injured a customer at the ice-cream parlour.
His accomplices Ravi and Badal who were involved in the robbery were arrested last year.
