NZ PM returns to work after maternity leave
Ardern 38 resumed her duties but will work from her home in Auckland until Saturday when she is expected to return to her official residence here along with her partner Clarke Gayford and daughter Neve who was born on June 21 reports Efe news.
During her absence the government was led by Deputy Prime Minister Winston Peters.
Ardern who announced her pregnancy in January is only the second world leader to give birth while in office after Pakistan s Benazir Bhutto who had her daughter in 1990.
