Panaji, March 17 (IANS) Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar's health is "extremely critical", the Chief Minister's Office tweeted on Sunday.

"Chief Minister @manoharparrikar's health condition is extremely critical. Doctors are trying their best," it said.

Parrikar was diagnosed for advanced pancreatic cancer in February last year and has been in an our of hospitals, in Goa, Mumbai, Delhi and New York since.

He is currently being treated at his private residence.
