Islamabad July 31 (IANS) The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) will file next week a petition to review the disqualification of Nawaz Sharif as the Prime Minister a media report said on Monday.
The PML-N s legal team was preparing the review petition Geo TV said. The decision was taken by the PML-N Parliamentary Party on Sunday.
A petition was also filed in the Islamabad High Court challenging the notification issued by the Election Commission for Sharif s disqualification.
Sharif was disqualified from holding public office by the apex court for being dishonest to the judiciary and Parliament on issues related to his assets and income.
