Rabat Nov 13 (IANS) Morocco and Qatar vowed to enhance bilateral cooperation while hailing the "excellent relations" between the two countries.
The two sides made the pledge on Sunday during a meeting between visiting Moroccan King Mohammed VI and Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani in Doha Xinhua reported citing MAP news agency.
After a broad meeting that included top officials from both countries the two leaders held a private meeting.
The meetings "touched on the excellent relations between the two brotherly countries and the firm will by the two leaders to further reinforce cooperation in the different areas " the report said.
The two heads of state also discussed regional and international topics of shared interest it added without disclosing details.
The Moroccan King arrived in Qatar after paying a five-day visit since Tuesday to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) which is part of the Saudi Arabia-led coalition that has cut ties with Qatar and imposed a full blockade on Doha.
