New Delhi Aug 31 (IANS) Rajiv Mehrishi who retired as Union Home Secretary on Wednesday has been appointed as the new Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India sources said on Thursday.
Senior IAS officer Rajiv Gauba on Thursday took charge as the Union Home Secretary.
Mehrishi is a 1978 batch Rajasthan cadre IAS officer.
