Rotary Club East's new executive council swearing ceremony concluded

Alpana Mishra become the new Chairperson

Bhopal:  The newly elected executive council of Rotary Club East, formed for the year 2018-19, took oath in the ceremony held last evening. Energy Minister Govt. Of MP, Parschand Jain, was chief guest of swearing-in ceremony. Narendra Jain, former District Governor of Rotary Club delivered oath to newly elected chairperson. Simon, former president of Rotary Club Mount Mary from Israel, was special guest of the program.

The office bearers who took oath on this occasion included Alpana Mishra, Chairperson, Ajay Bhatnagar, Secretary, Shrikant Phatak, Vice President, Kumud Tiwari and Rituraj Parmar, co Secretary and Sunil Khabya, Treasurer. In addition, 10 directors were also sworn in. On this occasion, retired chairman of the club, Vishnu Khanna, handed over his charge to new president, Alpana Mishra. Various officials including President and Secretary of other Rotary Clubs were present in the program.

On this occasion, Alpana Mishra said that in her her tenure, she will work on literacy related programs as well as focus to prevent growing criminal tendencies in the youth.

The chief guest of the program Parschand Jain said that Rotary Club is doing commendable work for the society. Rotary Club's contribution to make the country polio-free is the most important. He said that as a Minister of Education, he had given approval for smart classes in Madhya Pradesh under the Rotary Club Education Program which is now in the process of implementation. – Window To News
