Moscow May 24 (IANS) The world governing body for cycling on Wednesday suspended Russian Tatiana Antoshina for four years for using banned drugs.
According to a statement from the International Cycling Union the 34-year-old cyclist took a growth hormone reports Efe.
The suspension is set to enter into force retroactively on May 31 2016 and expire on April 3 2020 so it is expected that the Russian will not compete again.
Antoshina a professional racer since 2006 competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the women s road race in London finishing 25th.
