Multiple award winner Sarah Paulson has scored the starring role in the serial killer drama “Lost Girls” at Amazon Studios.

Michael Werwie penned the adaptation which centers on a mother searching for her missing daughter in Long Island who makes a horrifying discovery in the woods where the murdered bodies of four girls have been dumped.

Documentary filmmaker Liz Garbus makes her narrative film debut on the project which is based on investigative reporter Robert Kolker’s 2013 nonfiction title of the same name. Kevin McCormick and David Kennedy are producing IANS
