Under this campaign of CAIT, more than 7 crore small retailers will not sell the imported goods from abroad after the stock of foreign products present in them is exhausted. Let's tell you that CAIT has prepared a list of 3,000 goods produced by China, CAIT is working on a plan to boycott it. CAIT says that they aim to reduce about 1.5 lakh crore rupees in goods imported from China by December 2021.
But at the moment, the campaign of CAIT to boycott the foreign goods is currently being supported by only small traders. As far as the big industrialists are concerned, they believe that the domestic products of electronic, electrical, and FMCG category are not in the market according to the requirement. At the same time, the products of this category are less in market value.
The big traders argue that most of the manufacturing of many foreign products of this category is now being done in India, and demand for these products is also high. In such a situation, it is extremely difficult and impractical to completely boycott the foreign products without any strategy and backup.
That is, it is clear that according to the demand of the country's big retailers, it is in favor of imports from abroad. By the way, for your information, let's know that India imports a lot of its goods from abroad. Explain that India imports more than 60% of its power equipment. At the same time, 89% OT equipment, 88% monitor, 95% telephone equipment, 80% leather-plastic, and 81% toys are imported from abroad.

Because till the public does not give preference to domestic products over the foreign products, the import of foreign goods will continue.
