Chandigarh Sep 25 (IANS) SpiceJet on Tuesday announced it will launch two new daily flights from Amritsar to Bangkok and Goa.
The flights will commence from November 6 officials of the airlines said here after a meeting with Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh.
The airline handed over the first ticket to Amarinder.
Amarinder Singh said that there was a huge potential of tourism in Punjab especially the holy city of Amritsar which is visited by a large number of devotees from around the world to pay obeisance at the Golden Temple and Durgiana Mandir besides visiting the Jallianwala Bagh.
