Michael Omari, better known by his stage name Stormzy, is an English grime and hip hop artist and his latest track, Gang Signs & Prayer, is out and we say the music will make you tap your feet. However the cover is Iconic, fans already declared which he has posted on his twitter handle on the day of release.
The famous painting of Jesus Christ at the last supper is depicted and it appears iconic. It features the artist at the centre of a long table with eight balaclava-clad people alongside Stormzy a child next to him on his right. But what could Stormzy, who stands in the same place as Jesus Christ does in Leonardo Da Vinci's painting, be saying with this cover? When BBC asked art historian Prof Khadija she comes up saying "He's obviously thinking of himself as Jesus Christ - that's the clearest thing you see straight away."The way it's lit - it's given him this backlit halo."

'He looks like he's on a warpath’ “Basically, the gang is in a moment of crisis because one of them has betrayed the leader," added Prof Carroll, just the way Jesus' disciples - also known as apostles - are at the Last Supper. She adds: "The little kid next to Stormzy is quite striking, and they have even set him up in the position of Judas Escariot."Judas was the apostle who betrayed Jesus, which led to his crucifixion a few days later.
