The poppy Anushka is set against Varun Dhawan to act on screen for the first time. The project "Sui Dhaaga ", in which the duo will feature together is a Yash Raj Films collaboration between Maneesh Sharma and Sharat Katariya, the makers of "Dum Laga Ke Haisha". The moive is based on a social initiative and inspired from Make in India initiative. Taking on to his SM handle Varun while celebrating his 7 million twitter followers when having a Q&A session disclosed the deal. In the conversation with his fans, when the actor asked, When "Sui Dhaaga will start?,"Varun repiled “In feb".
Earlier Varun duraing an interview with a leading daily said, “From Gandhiji to Modiji, our leaders have always endorsed the mantra "Made in India". With SUI DHAAGA, I am proud to take their message to millions. Varun then said that he much liked the script that is written by Sharat.I am happy that I am teaming up with Yash Raj Filmsfor this one. Definatly the prohject is going to a poppy firey as Varun further added, Anushka and I are pairing up for the first time, so I am sure there will be fireworks.”
