Rio de Janeiro July 2 (IANS) Paris Saint-Germain centre-back Thiago Silva returned to his former club Fluminense as he began pre-season training ahead of schedule.
The 32-year-old completed a running and weights session at the Fluminense s Laranjeiras training base here on Saturday before posing for photos with staff and players reports Xinhua news agency.
He has officially been on holiday since featuring in Brazil s 4-0 victory over Australia in Melbourne on June 13.
Paris Saint-Germain who played their last match of the 2016-17 season on May 27 are due to resume training later this month.
Silva played 146 matches for Fluminense from 2006 to 2008 and is a product of the club s youth academy.
