Governor Attended the Sixth Outstanding Achievement Award Programme
 
Bhopal 10 April 2022: Governor Mangubhai Patel has said that those living in palaces should worry about those living in huts. If any part of the body is sick, then that body cannot be considered healthy. The same thing applies to society as well. He said that human life is for others. That is why nature has given the gift of special ability and sensitivity to speak. There is a need to spread this feeling in the society. He called upon the members of the Federation to accept the responsibility of cooperating in the needs of the marginalized sections around them.

Governor Patel was addressing the 43rd Annual Meeting of Federation of Madhya Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry and Sixth Outstanding Achievement Award programme today. He presented the Achievement Award 2022 to the large, medium and small entrepreneurs for their outstanding works in various categories.

Governor Patel said that the Federation deserves congratulations for the development of the state and for the cooperation and public service given during the disaster of Covid-19. He said that I am happy to know that the entrepreneurs of the state are ready to create new employment opportunities. Employment fairs can be organised to give employment to people in local industries. He said that the way Prime Minister Narendra Modi has created necessary arrangements and an environment of public cooperation to prevent the biggest disaster of the century, it is incomparable in the world. He said that during the disaster, all sections of the society laid down their lives in the service of others without worrying about their lives and lives of their family members, but many incidents also came to light in which the victims had to face behaviour similar to loot. He said that such incidents in the society are shameful. Everyone has to work together to build a healthy and harmonious society. In every sphere of life, whether it is education or business, it is necessary to have sensitivity and cooperative spirit towards the disadvantaged sections.

Governor Patel has said that the award programme of the Federation is a symbol of the resolve for the development of industry and trade. Expressing happiness over the participation of women entrepreneurs, the Governor said that it is generally seen that husbands give participation to the wife in business but do not bring them to the programmes. The presence of women is a symbol of the meaningful changes taking place in the direction of empowerment of the society. The initiative of felicitation by the Federation will boost the self-confidence of the entrepreneurs. It will give inspiration and encouragement for cooperation in nation development. In the programme, tribute was paid to the patron of the Federation Late Ramesh Agarwal, while remembering him.

The patron of the Federation, Girish Agarwal said that the way India is emerging in the geo-political changes happening in the world, India's potential in the world economy has increased a lot. The demand is likely to grow manifold across all sectors of production and service. He said that the contribution of private sector in industrial development, employment generation has been recognised. The support of the government boosts the confidence of the industries.

In the welcome address, Federation President R.S. Goswami said that even during the Covid disaster, not a single employee was retrenched in the industries of the state. The entrepreneur of the state has made the achievement of preparing oxygen concentrator with 98 percent oxygen generation in 53 days at the time of disaster. Agriculture contributes 46.9 percent to the state's GDP. In view of this fact, there is immense potential for the growth of food processing industries in the state.
