Port Blair Aug 21 (IANS) The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Tuesday arrested two engineers working in state-run Andaman Lakshadweep Harbour Works Ltd here for taking bribes in exchange for granting permission for road construction work.
Acting on a complaint CBI officers laid a trap and arrested the two a CBI statement said.
K.S. Raja a Junior Engineer and P. Prashant an Assistant Engineer were arrested for demanding and taking a bribe of Rs 22 000 each from the complainant the statement said.
