New Delhi July 12 (IANS) The government s ambitious air regional connectivity scheme RCS-Udan is set to get a boost with two more airlines -- Air Odisha and Air Deccan -- expected to start operations on remote routes.
According to a Civil Aviation Ministry official Air Odisha and Air Deccan are expected to start their operations by September-end.
In March 2017 five airlines including Air Odisha Air Deccan SpicetJet Alliance Air and TruJet were selected to operate a total of 128 routes connecting 65 destinations and 45 RCS airports under first phase of the scheme.
Currently SpicetJet Alliance Air and TruJet operate flights under RCS-Udan.
