"The five were detained for creating public nuisance. They were in a drunken state " an officer of Bidhannagar South police station told IANS on Saturday.

When asked whether anybody has been arrested in this regard he categorically answered in the negative.

"We have not arrested anybody " he said.

He also denied that those detained were doing duty as volunteers for the World Cup.
